Rothy's New Year's Eve Sneak Peek Releases: Let's Talk Inventory!

Numbers, especially when it comes to Rothy's, is quite interesting. When they re-released the Orchid Points, the initial inventory release number was 500+, at least in the central sizes. It looks like with the sneak peeks today, the release numbers were 200 or less per style and size.

Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean Rothy's doesn't have more inventory sitting in the sidelines waiting to be added to their available inventory online. It's just interesting to see how they go about their initial release numbers on their site on launch days.

It's also a possibility that they are planning on adding more over the next couple days when these styles are listed on their main style pages and not just as a sneak peek / secret early release, but if you have an eye on a certain pair and size, I wouldn't wait around just in case this doesn't occur.

Here are the current approximate inventory numbers currently accounted for in each style as of approximately 4pm PST on 12/31/18:

Takeaway: If we're assuming the starting numbers were the same for each style and size, the most popular of the points seems to be the Poseidon Blue at this point. Fern would appear to be the most popular for the flats. The Ivory Grey Snake Loafers would be the clear winner of the two Loafers, and there is no information to compare the Sneakers to at this time. However, the sneakers seem to be selling well if you compare their numbers to the other styles and similar sizes.
